Testimonies

To staff at Blarney Woollen Mills.

Thank you for the amazing afternoon tea we had in February.  The eclairs were delicious and moist with a lovely oval  shape and slightly sweetened cream much better than shop bought eclairs. The sandwiches were lovely and plentiful and carrot cake was moist with delicious frosting. The plates had beautiful butterfly designs and were made available to buy in the shop next door. The bathroom was spotlessly clean and customer service of high calibre. The decor and furniture was of a comfortable and high standard. The coffee was well presented in a percolator and we were requested if we wanted a refill part of the excellent service. Scones came with rolls of butter and jam and cream. The spacings between plates were well made for a lovely presentation. The young male staff member was a gentleman and the female staff member was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and accommodating. Service was efficient and friendly and a love of culinary experiences was apparent. I highly recommend the afternoon tea. Perhaps a menu with ingredients listed could accompany the meal as a suggestion.

Thank you all very much.
Kind regards,
Mairead O'Donoghue and Norma Carey

This place is absolutely First Class. Must definitely be amongst your considerations, if planning a visit to Blarney. Easy walk to Kiss the Blarney Stone, from here.

Lovely place to stay, room was a little bit noisy from the extractor fan outside but it wasn't really a problem. They have to put them somewhere!! Beautiful shopping right next door in the wool mill

FANTASTIC Location!

Date of stay: March 2019

This place was a pleasant surprise! The parking was so easy and convenient, the room was fantastic...Laura at the reception was exceptional and it was a 5 minute walk to Blarney Castle. We LOVED this property and ended up staying an extra night. I will definitely stay here again when visiting Ireland and will absolutely recommend it. Taxi to downtown Cork was only $15. Well worth it!

Comfortable and Well Run

Date of stay: March 2019

Stayed here for a couple of nights while on business in the area recently and intend returning again very soon.
My room was comfortable, with the nice high ceilings ensuring that it wasn't overly warm like a lot of hotels.
The breakfast is also fantastic here, with plenty of choice and everything cooked fresh. The pancakes are particularly nice.
Looking forward to my next stay.

Value for money

A lovely base from which to explore the blarney stone and woollen mills and surrounding country side. All staff so friendly and when got to our room we found we had been upgraded to an executive room. Breakfast was excellent as was dinner in Christys bar beside the hotel with huge portions and choice.
